Who we are

My name is Rafael Zamora. I am the owner, designer, builder, and delivery man for Broadway Wood Design.

After being laid off during COVID times, having no income whatsoever, and having to feed my family - I decided to roll up my sleeves and try something new. If someone would’ve told me I would become a woodworker one day, I probably would not have believed it.

I threw myself into learning how to woodwork by building a picnic set from home. It was during COVID, so not much could be done outside of new projects within our own homes. From that set, and a few more testers, I decided this was what I loved to do.

I built a set for my family, and realized how happy it made me to see everyone gathered on something I made with my bare hands. So much so, that I wanted to share this with others. This is how Broadway Wood Design was born.

More than 5 years later, and a family of 7 - I now build these sets with my wife. We put so much care, precision, and passion into each detail for each set so that our customers can have great experiences through family and/or friend gatherings as well.

We are so blessed with our growth, and continue being excited one table set at a time!
